Description: Project Zap teachers basic aerodynamic principles with a creative rocket building simulator that puts a player’s knowledge to the test as they aim for the stars.

Skills and Ideas Taught: Project Zap teaches students the basics of aerodynamics through fun and intuitive gameplay. Students will learn how different properties affect the rocket’s performance.

Goal or Challenge: Players will be challenged to create the most efficient and effective rocket to return ZAP home safely.

Primary Audience: Suggested for sixth graders and up

Assessment Approach: Project Zap uses leaderboards to keep records of the most efficient rocket combinations.

Game Engine: Unity 3D
